We’ve visited, researched and rated pubs across a whole load of categories – from baby-changing facilities and highchairs to food, space, atmosphere and all the little things that can make taking a baby or toddler to the pub that bit easier.
The Pomme’s Picks League Table brings all of those ratings together to give you our overall ranking of the best family-friendly pubs in Sussex.

What is Pomme’s Pub Picks?
When we visit pubs, we use a bespoke form and algorithm to rate the pubs on various baby-friendly categories.
The Parent rating is a culmination of rankings based on factors like:
🍼 Baby changing facilities
🤩 Comfort and space
👟 Ease of accessibility
🥰 Atmosphere and staff friendliness
🧠 Mother’s intuition (or gut feel)
Pomme points are based on our daughter’s individual experience and whether we would choose to bring her back or not.
The more apples there are, the more Pomme liked it.
